Greetings Nobles and Ladies

First, I would like to correct a typo from last month's Camels Calf. I mistakenly wrote that the LOH won two throwaways. I meant to say we congratulate them for winning two trophies in New Braunfels. The Provost Guard held their Mid-Winter in Dallas and also won two trophies. The Provost State Marshal, Kevyn Branham, from Khiva Temple, held an auction and raised $1,100.00 for the transportation fund for the Galveston Hospital. Congratulations to the Provost Guard for helping out.

Thank you to all the Nobles and Ladies who worked the circus in Garland and Fair Park. Through your efforts and commitment you helped the Chief Rabban have another successful circus. Great job!

The May meeting will be an open meeting honoring the Military, Police Officers and Fire Fighters. Please join us at the open meeting. Morris Barker, a WWII veteran who was a POW for a year, will talk about his experiences as a gunner and prisoner of war. Chief Doug Kowalski, from the McKinney Police Department, will honor Police Officers. The Dallas Fire Fighters Association will display the Last Alarm Call Bell, a converted fire pumper from the early 1900's, and explain the last alarm call. A display of the American Flag and explanation of how it came together will also be pre- sented. Please come out and invite a veteran, police officer or fire fighter to attend.

At the May meeting the Shrine will honor the Peace Officers unit, LOH and Ellis County Shrine Club. Please join me and honor these great units and shrine clubs.

TSA is just around the corner please get your rooming list to the Housing Chairman Charles Lee or turn it in at the Temple to Lisa. We need to know how many rooms to hold for you. I am excited about TSA and I am looking for- ward to bringing many trophies back to Hella.

Fraternally Yours,
Roger
