Named by past potentate Stan Ballard, we do 101 things to help the temple.The 101's serve food and beverages at all the functions at the temple, also many parades. Come out and let us wait on you.

A La Karts
The A La Kart unit is over twenty years old, and has won just about every award that is given in the Shrine world. In addition to competition, the Karts ride an average of ten parades a year.

Black Horse Patrol
The Hella Mounted Patrol was started in 1957 by Nobles Otto Consolvo and Ernest Webber who used hand painted signs to identify themselves while riding horseback through the All-State Convention Parade in Fort Worth. Two months later the Hella Mounted Patrol was formed and approved in November by the Potentate. The Unit later changed its name to the Hella Black Horse Patrol.

Cavaliers
The Hella Cavaliers is a Shriners Motorcycle Unit. We ride almost every kind of two wheeled vehicle known to man, bith in competitons across the US and just for fun.
Our credo is "That no man stands as tall, as when he stoops to help a child". We ride so that children can walk!

Clowns
Hella Clowns was formed in 1954 with four Clowns. Ray Sullivan, Troy Woerner, Jamie Jamison and Lonnie Mulder who got together in Oak Cliff Texas and wrote the By-Laws for the Unit. Hella Clowns work hard for their unit to raise money for the Hospital and they Love the Competition against their fellow Shriners.

Concert/German Band
The Hella Concert-German is one Band with two music folders. One contains overtures, musicals, show tunes and marches. The other has authentic waltzes, polks and marches imported from German and Austria. The band plays at various Shrine functions and entertains at retirements homes or wherever concert or German music is required.

Directors Staff
The Director's Staff is made up of a bunch of men who enjoy good fellowship within the realm of good, clean fun. We sincerely believe the Second Section of the Ceremonial has a beneficial part in the growth and well-being of Hella Temple. If in doubt, ask the next Noble you see what happened to him when he crossed the Hot Sands.

Dixielanders
The Dixielanders, like ALL Shrine entities in this northern hemisphere, exist for one purpose, "To Help Kids". We do this by playing toe tappin' Dixieland Jazz for a nominal fee and donating the proceeds to Shrines Hospitals each year.

Knights Of Mecca
Created on May 24th 1973, the Knights of Mecca is open to any Master or Past Master in good standing of a blue lodge who is in good standing of any Temple of the AAONMS residing within the jurisdiction of Hella Shrine.

Legion Of Honor
The Legion of Honor was formed in 1980 for Nobles who are, or previously have been, active in the Armed Forces of the United States and its allies and presently has ninety-six members. The Legion of Honor "Carries the Flags" for Crippled Children!"

Mini Patrol
In 1968, Hella Shrine Temple granted a group of "daredevil" Shriners a charter to form a unit in the motor patrol. We ride 1981 Honda CT-70 Mini Trail motorcycles in parades and competitions.

Motor Patrol
Members of the Motor Patrol ride as a unit in various local parades, grand openings, special civic events and the Shrine Circus to support Hella Temple and Shriner's Hospitals for Children. The unit takes pride in its annual "Street Rod, Classic Car and Bike Show."

Parade Committee
The Hella Parade Committee is a unit of the Hella Shrine consisting of a Parade Marshall, President, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and other members. The Marshall, appointed by the Potentate, is a member of the divan and communicates with the Potentate on all the parades and special events.

Peace Officers
The object of this organization shall be to promote good fellowship, to endeavor on attaining maximum effectiveness among the Peace Officers of Hella Temple, and at all times to promote the best interest of all Shriners according to the dictates of Imperial Shrine Law, the by-laws of Hella Temple and for the advancement of crippled and burned children's philanthropy.
